Last Men Out


This is a picture of the last helicoper out of Vietnam in April of 1975, it landed on top of the U.S. Embassy as North Vietnamese troops took control of Saigon. Explain your views on this picture and how it depicts U.S involvement in the Vietnam War?

Class July 7th

Today during our class we talked about the siege of Khe Sanh during the Vietnam war. During the Tet Offensive the Marine Base at Khe Sanh was seiged for 77 days. This was one of the biggest battles during the war and the Marines held. It was very important to hold that position and they did. Reply with thoughts on how you preceive the Khe Sanh seige helped boost moral of the men fighting in the Vietnam War? Did it help or hurt moral?
